Cashback and Casino Rebate: How the Rate, Base and Cap Work

Cashback in five lines
Cashback is the quietest offer on any promotions list, and often the most useful, because it pays on play you were doing anyway. It comes in two forms: true cashback refunds part of what you lost across a set window, while a rebate pays a slice of every stake regardless of outcome. Read five lines before you count on either.
- The base. Net losses, or total bets.
- The rate at your tier. The figure for the bet total you will really reach.
- The clock. Whether it accrues live, daily or by the week, and the day money arrives.
- The cap. A ceiling on the payout per period, if one is printed.
- The form. Withdrawable cash, or bonus money with its own turnover multiple.
A casino rebate as printed: the 3.8% card
MERRYPH’s card is titled EVERY BET EARN CASHBACK, and the lobby’s marquee shortens it to “Realtime Cashback Up to 3.8%”. By the five lines above it is a rebate, because the base is bets. The rate depends on game type and on your bet total:
| Game type | Rate at the lowest tier | Rate at the top tier |
|---|---|---|
| Slot, fishing, blockchain | 1.00% (bets of 1+) | 3.80% (bets of 300M+) |
| Sports, live, poker | 0.60% | 1.20% |
The headline rate sits at the far end of the table. For nearly every reader, the working figure is the 1.00% row.
What 1,000 spins return
Take 1,000 spins at ₱10 on Mahjong Ways, a PG Soft slot with a published RTP of 96.92%.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Total bet | ₱10,000 |
| Expected cost (100% minus 96.92%) | about ₱308 |
| Rebate at 1.00% | ₱100 |
| Expected cost after rebate | about ₱208 |
The rebate trims roughly a third off the expected cost; it does not turn the session into a profit. If you liked that maths, compare the VIP salary ladder next, because VIP levels on the same lobby are also earned by bet totals and the two pay out side by side.
Real-time, daily or weekly: why the clock matters
The marquee calls this rebate “Realtime”, which means the return is meant to build as you bet rather than after a weekly close. A real-time rebate is easier to track, because you can see it move during a session. A weekly loss-based cashback is the opposite: nothing arrives until the period ends, and a winning week returns nothing.
The game row matters as much as the clock. The same ₱10,000 played on live tables at the 0.60% row returns ₱60, against ₱100 on slots at 1.00%. If you split your time between the two, the slot share does most of the rebate’s work.
Rebate versus a spin offer
A rebate rewards play you chose; a spin promotion usually steers you to particular slots. A reader who plays a steady favourite gets more from the rebate.
Red flags to watch for
- Percentages printed without a base, leaving you to guess between losses and stakes.
- A headline rate that only the top tier earns, shown as if everyone gets it.
- A request to deposit before an earned rebate is “released”.
- A payout date that keeps moving once the period has closed.
Rebate balances show inside the account area, so start from the login steps for each route. 76JL, the partner platform behind this site’s buttons, sets its own rebate terms. The full bonus card list sorts every other card. Rebates are for players of 21 and over, and never a reason to raise a stake.
How to Get Started
-
Find your real tier
Look up the rate for the bet total you will actually reach, not the headline. On the lobby read here, slot play starts at 1.00%.
-
Work out a session
Multiply your planned bets by that rate. ₱10,000 of slot bets at 1.00% returns ₱100.
-
Read the payout form
Learn if the rebate arrives spendable or as bonus credit carrying its own multiple, and at what point in the cycle.
