Maya and Casino Lobbies: Account Tiers, Deposit Banners and the 2025 Rule

By MERRYPH Editorial Team

  • 21+ only
Every shelf here is meant for readers 21 or older, the minimum casino age set in the Philippines. Under 21? Then none of this is for you.
  • Checked against PAGCOR's list
PAGCOR's published lists dated 29 October 2026 do not name MERRYPH or merryi24ph.vip. We say so plainly; you can search the same PDF yourself.
  • Buttons open 76JL
Each PLAY NOW, REGISTER and LOGIN button sends you to 76JL, the partner we work with, via a tracked link, and never to MERRYPH's lobby. Glance at the address bar after the tap.

Maya and casino lobbies now meet only at the lobby’s cashier. Lucky Games shut on 16 August 2025, after the BSP instructed the wallets under its supervision to drop gambling links, and Maya now points a player who wants to move money to the operator’s own site or app, where the log-in uses the mobile number on the account.

That leaves two questions for a player: which Maya tier can actually send the money, and what a lobby’s Maya banner really adds. Both have short answers below.

Maya after the August 2025 change

BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 allowed every BSP-supervised institution just 48 hours to pull in-app gambling access, and the memo’s wording takes in any feature that passes a user along to a gaming site. Maya was covered.

The PayMaya +2% banner, read calmly

MERRYPH’s phone lobby carries a carousel banner: “DEPOSIT PAYMAYA +2% BONUS - EVERY SINGLE DEPOSIT USING PAYMAYA YOU CAN EARN BONUS.” In plain arithmetic, 2% of a ₱1,000 deposit is ₱20.

The banner itself states no turnover, cap or game list. Those live in the promotion’s own terms on the lobby’s promotions page, so read them before choosing Maya for the extra. A small percentage tied to a large turnover multiple may demand more wagering than the extra is worth.

Maya account tiers in one table

From Maya’s account-limits page.

TierWallet balance, monthlyBank transfer out (InstaPay)
BasicPHP 50KNot available
UpgradedPHP 100KPHP 100K a month, 40 times
Super UsersPHP 500KPHP 500K a month, 80 times
Ultimate UsersPHP 5MPHP 5M a month, no count limit

For a casino player the second column decides more than the first. Basic accounts have no bank-transfer option whatsoever, so a Basic holder who wants to move winnings on to a bank has to upgrade before the money arrives, not after.

Every tier shares one InstaPay ceiling for money coming in from other banks: PHP 50K per transaction. Maya caps each linked-bank cash-in at ₱20,000.

Five checks before a Maya top-up

  1. Your Maya account is Upgraded, so transfers and sends are open.
  2. The account is in your own name, matching the casino profile.
  3. The lobby’s cashier lists Maya on the day you deposit; a footer logo alone is not the cashier.
  4. You have read the banner promotion’s terms if you are depositing for the +2%.
  5. The amount clears the cashier’s minimum, which the minimum deposit page explains how to find.

Upgrade steps and the safety line

Upgrading is optional and free. Go to Profile, tap Upgrade Your Account, type your full name and date of birth to match the National ID, and finish on the video selfie; Maya texts you within 24 hours once it approves. For an adult Filipino, Maya accepts one primary ID (National ID, passport, driver’s licence, UMID and others) or two secondary IDs.

A first payout may still bring an ID request from the casino side; casino KYC verification covers that. GCash users can compare with the GCash withdraw ceilings, bank senders with InstaPay transfers, and the withdrawal and deposit hub. The register checklist come before any of it, and play is for 21+ only.

How to Get Started

  1. Upgrade the Maya account

From the Profile screen, choose Upgrade Your Account. Match your name and birth date to the National ID character for character, then film the video selfie.

  2. Check the tier limits Maya shows

Open the profile button, then Account Limits. Note the monthly wallet figure and whether bank transfers are open on your tier.

  3. Deposit from the lobby's cashier

Sign in to the lobby, open Deposit, and choose Maya only if the cashier lists it. Use the mobile number registered to your own Maya account.

Worth knowing first: the shelf buttons (PLAY NOW, REGISTER, LOGIN) lead to 76JL, a partner platform we work with, by way of a tracked link. They do not open MERRYPH's own lobby, which sits at merryi24ph.vip. merryphhub.com may earn a commission if you sign up with 76JL.

Questions readers ask about this one

Is Maya the same as PayMaya?

Yes. Maya Philippines, Inc. was earlier PayMaya Philippines, which is why some lobbies, MERRYPH's phone banner among them, still print the old name.

Can I play casino games from inside the Maya app?

No. Lucky Games shut down inside Maya on 16 August 2025 under the BSP's order on gambling links. Money now moves through the gaming provider's cashier, reached on that provider's site or app, not through a tile inside Maya.

Will Maya ask for my OTP to upgrade?

Per Maya, no staff member or agent of theirs will ever ask for a password, a one-time PIN (OTP) or the card's 16-digit number, and upgrading is free. Anyone who does is not Maya.
