Fortune Tiger is the smallest grid on the PG shelf: three reels, three rows and five paylines. That size is the point. Filling every position is a long shot on a 30-position grid but far closer on a 9-position one, and both of the game’s headline multipliers depend on them. MERRYPH’s catalogue counts it among 174 PG Soft titles.

How the Fortune Tiger respin works
Rather than refreshing all nine positions, the respin is built around one symbol. What you are watching for is a grid filled by one symbol.
If it does, the win is multiplied by 10. If the whole grid fills with wilds, the multiplier is 500x instead. On a ₱5 stake, a 500x screen pays ₱2,500, and that one outcome is the main reason the game draws attention.
Problem: the 500x screen makes players double the stake after a near miss. Fix: the next spin owes you nothing for an almost-win. Keep the stake you chose, and let the spin count, not the last result, end the session.
Fortune Tiger vs Fortune Ox
These two get compared more than any other PG pair. Side by side:
| Fortune Tiger | Fortune Ox | |
|---|---|---|
| Grid | 3x3 | 3-4-3 |
| Lines | 5 | 10 |
| RTP | 96.81% | 96.75% |
| Top win | 2,500x | 2,000x |
| Feature | one-symbol respin, 10x or 500x screen | synced reels respin until a win, 10x full reel |
Pick Tiger if you want the plainest possible game. Pick Fortune Ox’s 3-4-3 layout if five lines feel thin and you want twice as many.
A short Fortune Tiger session
This is the game for a ten-minute break, so plan a short session on purpose. A worked example with ₱200:
- Stake: ₱2 a spin, which gives 100 spins.
- Check-in: every 25 spins, look at the balance against ₱200.
- Stop rule: end at 100 spins, or earlier if the balance halves.
Five lines and a 3x3 grid keep every spin easy to follow, and a spin takes moments to settle. That simplicity is the appeal; it also makes it easy to keep tapping past the plan, which is why the spin count comes first.
Where to go after Fortune Tiger
A curator’s next steps, in order of how big a change they are:
- A small step: Fortune Ox, above.
- A medium step: the Lucky Neko cat slot moves to a 6x5 grid with multipliers that stack during a spin.
- A big step: Mahjong Ways 2 and its 100,000x cap brings 2,000 ways and long free-spin rounds.
The six-game PG Soft table compares every option in one place. To find Tiger itself, tap PG Slots on the phone home screen, or pick SLOTS and then PG on a desktop.

How to Get Started
-
Check the five lines
Open the rules screen and look at the five line shapes on the 3x3 grid. Knowing where a win can land makes every spin easy to read.
-
Know the two full-screen numbers
A screen of one matching symbol pays 10x; a screen of wilds pays 500x. Everything else pays by the normal paytable.
-
Set a short session
This game settles fast, so spins add up quickly. Fix a spin count before you start rather than a time limit.
